We started organizing programs for the land and art in Syros. Our guiding principles are aesthetics, functionality, friendliness, the wonderful environment of our land, our history, our food, and creation. The Contact with the land and art is an act of self-love. Our philosophy is humans, as artist-creators, to create works that highlight the beauty and value of local tradition, while incorporating innovative elements that showcase a contemporary perspective.
A series of interactive and experiential workshops will take place at Leimona, featuring invited artists from all fields of art—hailing from Greece, Cyprus, and abroad—as well as skilled artisans from the Cyclades, who will be creating throughout the duration of the project.
